My top 5 veteran comeback players:

Carlos Quentin - Will be fully healed and back to mashing the ball. Expect another 35 plus homer season.
Roy Oswalt - So vastly underrated but so consistent. Will finish AGAIN with more than 12 wins and decent peripherals.
Jake Peavy - He is about to dominate the AL Central. Beware AL Central fans, beware.
Grady Sizemore - He will go 30/30 again. And raise that horrendous average.
Jose Reyes - People are really sleeping on him, but I think he wants to lead the league in steals again and will help revitalize that Mets offense and score a ton of runs (and still a ton of bases...make a run at 100!!!).

Even though he went to the A's, I hope to see Ben Sheets come back around.
Certainly not a bad pick for comeback player of year.

Daisuke Matsuzaka.

Good call. A lot of fans around here (New England, that is) seem to have forgot the fact that he went 18-3 in 2008.

I would be thrilled to see Brandon Webb come back and stay healthy.

Does anyone think Francisco Liriano can have a bounce back season??

I am sitting on a ridiculous collection of him.

A) I'd love to see it, but it just looks unlikely. Even though reports outta winter league ball say he looked like his old self.

B) What are you sitting on ? My brother collects him and I dabble with him a bit ...

I'll go with pitchers coming off injuries, that always works!

Ben Sheets, Brad Lidge and I think that Josh Hamilton should be fine.

I hope he will too even though I dumped most of my stash of him. I also think that Brandon Webb will have a semi-decent bounce back season.

some of my collection is in my bucket. I have tons of auto's including 02 bowman best auto's, 02 bowman chrome and refs, a lot of rc auto's, tons of gu, about 12 1/1's, some sick patches, etc. If i could make half of what I spent on this stuff I would be thrilled. I bought most of it while he was hurt in 07-08 so i wont be out of too much.

edit: i actually just checked ebay and saw I can still get around 75%-100% of what I paid for mostly everything :)
