This.

'Ceptin' I grew up in Texas and my grandfather passed on his love of UT sports to me. Only UT game I went to was a basketball game, but I have seen every UT-A&M game and every UT-Tech game since I was 5 (minus one for each....when I was in basic training).

I bleed burnt orange (and got lucky the Titans drafted Vince Young...two birds, one stone).

Purdue - BOILER UP!!! HAIL PURDUE!!!

I went there for undergrad during the Drew Brees hay day and beginning of the Kyle Orton era. Purdue is both the "Cradle of Quarterbacks" and "Den of Defensive Ends".

QBs:
Len Dawson
Bob Griese
Mike Phipps
Gary Danielson
Scott Campbell
Mark Herrman
Jim Everett (Call me Chris one more time...)
Jeff George (for one year before he transferred to Illinois)
Drew Brees
Kyle Orton
Curtis Painter

DEs:
Anthony Spencer
Roosevelt Colvin
Shaun Phillips
Ray Edwards
Akin Ayodele
Rob Ninkovich
Chike Okeafor
Anthony Heygood
Cliff Avril

I always love going to back to campus on a Saturday to watch a game at Ross-Ade. Living in Indy is pretty convenient since West Lafayette is only about an hour away. We may not always have a winning season, but that only makes the bowl trips we do make even sweeter. I have been to 3 bowl games and have enjoyed myself at all of them - Capital One Bowl, Champs Sports Bowl, and Motor City Bowl. Of course going to Florida beats going to MoTown any day! I have no doubt that Danny Hope will get us to a bowl next season.

I grew up in South Bend, IN and liked notre dame as a kid because of Lou Holtz. My grandmother knew him and I met him on several occasions. He is a very nice man and did a lot for the community. When they got rid of him, that was the end of me liking nd. When I went to Purdue, this only grew my hatred of notre shame!

Iowa!

Mainly because i was just raised by all Iowa fans. Every sense i have been 5 we go to the Iowa State Iowa game and atlease one Iowa home game and at the end of the season we go to every bowl. I could of picked another team over the years but Iowa just clicked i guess. Ever sense then i have bled black and yellow. Cant wait to get to Glensdale!

Pitt - I live in Pittsburgh, plus, a few of the best players at their postion in NFL history came from Pitt. My wife graduated from there and we've had football season tickets the past 2 seasons.

QB - Dan Marino
RB - Tony Dorsett, Curtis Martin
WR - Larry Fitzgerald, one of the best right now and on his way to being a HOF'er.

HAIL TO PITT!!!!!

After living in Norman, Oklahoma for a year and after turning 10 years old I wasn't really much into watching college football. I really had no idea of the great powerhouse that was known as the Sooners that played only 5 miles from my house. I was flipping channels on the tv and caught what I thought, at the time, was the most exciting thing I had ever seen and suddenly I became a Oklahoma Sooners fan. It's funny how you remember 3 seconds out of your life 32 years later. I don't think they've had a kicker worth a crap since.

User name says it all: UMich92 => Michigan Class of '92.

Grew up in Michigan and really wanted to leave the state for college, but in-state tuition and scholarship money to Michigan was a combo that was too good to pass up. I don't collect too much football, but I do try to pick up a few nice autos of Michigan guys in their college uni.

I'm a die hard Michigan fan.

My Dad went there and I have a lot of family in Michigan. (2 of my uncles actually work for Michigan State)

I go to a game every year. this year was Ohio State and a couple of years ago I went to the Rose Bowl where they got blown out against USC ::facepalm:: I wish I could go to more games but since I live in NY it just isn't possible.

GO BLUE!

I am a fan of Fresno State.

Several reasons kinda meld into one for me:

Fond memories of family trips through Central California; some members of my family didn't like the whole Fresno area, but I always did. The whole agricultural thing was exciting to a kid from Surf City.

Cool colors and mascot

Some of my favorite players: David Carr and Trent Dilfer (I know, I know)

My Team: Nebraska Cornhuskers

Why?: Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. First comes Husker Football, second comes family. I have been fortunate enough to attend many home games and be apart of the Sea of Red. :P

UCLA, started following them after I became a fan of other Los Angeles teams. It all started when my mom bought me a Rams jacket back in 1974. Then I went on to become a Dodgers and Lakers fan. I always watched all the college games on saturday and chose UCLA to stay with my love for LA teams. I then eventually became a Raiders and Kings fan and will watch any team from there. Sadly they haven't won a national championship, in football at least. And this having grown up in Nebraska. I was sick of all the Cornhuskers talk but if you've ever been to Nebraska you would know that they have nothing else going for them.
