Who is your favorite player that used to play for your team and no longer does? He doesn't have to have even have had that big an impact on your team. Mike Cameron retiring got me thinking about this.

For me, it would be a toss-up between Branyan and Posednik, although Cam-boogie is close.

I liked watching Raul Ibanez play here in Seattle. I also miss Erik Bedard, though his injuries defined him while he was on the M's.

Cliff Lee is an obvious choice but sadly too short lived. Almost like a dream. Did it actually happen?

Always been a fan of Nick Johnson. Too bad he is more fragile than glass. He was supposed to be the first baseman of the Yankees but couldn't stay healthy.

Ben Grieve. Didn't do a whole lot, but I was a fan of his from the beginning.

Retired: Ripken and Mussina. I was devastated when Mussina went to the Stankees. I knew he was leaving but to pick the Yankees. Ugh. Still one of my favorite pitchers though.

Current: Corey Patterson. He can really suck but shows moments of brilliance and just hustles every play and at-bat.

Magglio Ordonez. I even named my dog after him, only for him to go to the Tigers a month later.

Craig Biggio - what's sad is that I didn't appreciate him enough while he was playing. Like everyone else in the 1995-2003 era, I was fascinated with the monster home runs being hit. I took for granted the little guy that was hitting doubles and singles to get on base. However, Biggio played baseball the right way, was selfless (took one for the team hundreds of times), and was a complete team player (moved to the outfield for Jeff Kent).
Now that he's retired, I miss watching the guy play ball.

Fred McGriff, Mark Lemke, Dave Justice, Ron Gant, Bob Horner, everyone in my sig, I could go on all day. But if I had to pick one player it would be Greg Maddux. Very disappointed when he went to the Cubs.
