Who ya got? I've been checked out of baseball at large, what with Milwaukee sucking at historic levels. But Jean Segura has been a rock star so far.

Who would be a candidate outside of my myopic-homer world?

He should be the clear frontrunner at this time. Being in last place can snub you badly though, see: AL 2002.

as for the alternate candidate it would be Goldschmidt.

Goldy and Tully are doing well out West.

A lil bias for Paul right now

The Brewers being terrible isn't gonna help Segura (or Gomez for that matter). Might be Votto so far.

Though if there's any pitcher in the game who has the potential to finish with a sub-2 ERA, it's Kershaw...

I would have to guess that Justin Upton would be in the mix.
Maybe a month ago.
Upton's hitting .259 now and is on pace for only about 85 rbi.
He hit most of his home runs early.

I think it's a virtual tie between Goldschmidt, Tulo and Votto right now, with several other players mentioned in this thread right behind.

Josh Donaldson FTW

great breakout season so far, but he is incredibly behind Miggy and Davis at this point.. I think they would both have to tank at some point for weeks for him to catch up.
