38 bucks for a triple jersey that came out of a pack that cost 20 bucks? What is wrong with that?

those are possibly the 3 most collected players in the game today. 38 bucks seems like a decent price to get all 3 in your collection at the same time.

I am just surprised since I got mine for 7dlvd last year
Also how come I can only find 2 SPX of these guys ?
Are they all in collections now or just that rare?
I was thinking of selling now buy back later
but thought I would ask first Thanks for the input all

These seem to have dried up lately. I needed a few Shields still and they didn't come up for a long time.

So much volatility in the price of eBay cards, particularly those that are numbered to 100 or less.

I'm surprised that one went for $7, but then again, that's why a lot of sellers don't do straight auctions anymore.

Plus, think of how many player collector's, just of those three guys, are out there.

I have to disagree with most of you. I think it's unlikely that this is where the market is on cards like this. I know 3 people bid over $29, but I think it's likely an anomaly. It's true these three guys have big followings, but that has not kept jersey cards of each of these guys from going as low as a couple bucks a piece.

But how many triple JSY's of these three particular future HOF'ers are out there ?

I don't buy that type of stuff anymore, but I would jump on that card for $7 dlvd anyday. I paid a lot more than $7 for this:

I honestly don't believe there are too many people who would care. Most people collect one player or team.

In the grand scheme of things a thirty dollar difference isn't enough to really worry about for a nice card like this.

On the basis of what data? Take a look at closed auction data for Pujols jersey cards, for example (just looking at cards that are numbered to 100 or higher). There's a huge range in the prices realized. Mostly in the $5-10 range. The number of auctions ending at "a couple bucks" is tiny.

Also, I'd say that the fact that THREE people bid over $29 is strong evidence that the "market" price is much closer to $37 than $7. Each one of those three people establishes a market at $29 or above.
