Why do people get offended so easily?

I was watching UFC 96 with a bunch of people, and I missed it, but I guess when Lesnar was on the screen he did a throat slash and said 'Mir' or something.

And one person was saying it was ******** and whatnot.

Why?

I don't get the big deal.

I get sick and damn tired of people acting like these fighters should just not say anything before a fight, get in the ring/octagon, just look stone faced, fight, then after the fight only say thank you and then move on.

People have been pissing and moaning about Kendall Grove and Mark Hammil's celebrations at UFC 96. Get a damn life people. They just won a fight they trained months for. Let them celebrate. It isn't like they got on the mic and said eff you to the person that they just fought and called the, losers. They were pumped up. People say it's disrespectful and whatnot. Bull crap. You want them to not celebrate, beat them, then they won't be able to.

These same people who complain about these things from the likes of Grove and Lesnar from my experiences are the same people who don't mind one bit about Rampage's or Chuck's or Anderson's or Wanderlei's antics after a win. They are all excited, do a dance or jump up on the cage, or throw their arms up in the air and scream like an idiot.

Now if someone wants to hate on something a fighter does DURING a fight like Rashad did against Forrest, or Lesnar did against Herring, then that's perfectly fine. I don't like that either, and there's no place for that in MMA. But then again, I didn't hear much from anyone when everyone's hero Randy spanked Tito, which I thought was bull and I hate Tito. It was one of the most disrespectfult things I have ever seen in an octogan. But it was everyone's savior, so it was okay right?

But for someone to be offended by Lesnar doing something so small is absurd to me. I didn't hear many people whining about Wand doing the throat slash and then throwing up 3 fingers before the last Rampage fight.

This is fighting people, stop complaining about people being excited for winning.

Who cares, people will always hate on fighters they dislike for whatever reason. Weren't you the one complaining about Rashad's antics? :?

That was DURING THE FIGHT, like I mentioned previously.

I don't care what fighters do after they win, but people pulling **** like that in the middle of a fight is the only thing I have a problem with. He wants to grab his crotch and point at Forrest after the fight, then by all means go right ahead. Forrest should have beaten you if he didn't want you do do that. That's how I look at it. But I am talking about 2 different things here. People whining about post match celebrations. Not things that happen in the middle of a fight. I am the biggest Lesnar nuthugger of them all, but I have killed him for the stuff he did in the Herring fight as much as anyone.

MMA is just like any other sport. There are some athletes that just plain rub you the wrong way and you dislike them. When this happens, any little thing they do will piss you off. Everyone has people like this whether it be in sports, TV, politics, or just the real world.
