why does ebay let sellers do this??

i get this email:

and i am sure the card got sold. this is the second time in 2 weeks a card i was looking at got pulled for i am sure the exact reason.

now i am thinking. what if i list a few high end cards and pull them right before the auction ends. costs me $.15 and i can feel out how much they will sell for?? B.S. in my big O.

with full disclosure i may or may not have bought it. just didn't know you could pull an auction once you get a bid. i guess i should have pulled afew that went a little under current value, but i have integrity. i will not buy from sellers who do this from now on.

It's certainly possible the seller ended auction to sell outside of EBAY.

I hate it when an item I am watching is "ended" prior to expected end-time, but as I have heard others indicate, if I really want the item I should contact seller expressing my interest.

I certainly am not bashful about trying to make deals with sellers...

i understand, and thanks for your comments but my bid shows interest. so, i need to bid and then e-mail then to tell then i am wanting the card. crazy and i won't be doing that. hope they sold it for a good price. guess we will never know if i would have paid more.

I believe so but i bet they wont change anything and write it off as the economy's fault.

yep. and i should not take pleasure in that, but if you change and your changes suck prepare for the outcome! i am with companies that adapt all the time. we change, it dosen't work, we fix it, immediatley.
