Ouch.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... -practice/

Well, this makes a lot more sense.

Nate Kaeding's sudden withdrawal from the Pro Bowl was because of injury. He showed up for practice Wednesday morning, but suffered a "slight tear" in his groin, according to Jarrett Bell of USA Today. That is one rough way for Kaeding to go into the offseason.

There was a line of thinking that Kaeding had an opportunity to wipe away the bitter taste of his final game by hitting some field goals during game action.

Instead, he'll have to start rehabbing a new injury.

kaeding needs to grow up alot....

I must be missing something, why does he need to grow up?

Grown players don't slightly tear their groins. If he were more mature, he'd tear an ACL or something.

Exactly, and the fact that he looks like a 12 year old but he did have an awesome REGULAR season ;)

Just when you thought exhibition tackle football couldn’t get any less meaningful, David Garrard -- fresh off a 15-TD, 10-INT season -- is a Pro Bowler. Maybe the Jags wouldn’t have been playing in front of a sea of empty seats every week if their fans had known their QB was having a Pro Bowl season.

My favorite ProBowl story is years ago when Steve Atwater screwed up his hamstring getting off the team bus before the game. He tripped over something, and went down.

I'm sure everyone remembers Robert Edwards, the Pats rookie RB, who, in 1998, tore up his whole knee in beach Football game they used to have the rookies play in. His career was pretty much over, he came back for the Fish for a short while, but he was certainly never the same. And at the time, he looked like a good long-term answer at RB.

It just gets worse for Kaeding.
I was watching NFL network this morning and they had this "I am the playoffs.." ad. One of the lines was " I am where the weak wither", and there was Kaeding missing a kick then putting his head down to personify the statement.

I think I'd probably go insane if that was me and I turned on the TV to see stuff like that.
