Why is 2010 Bowman Chrome dropping like a rock?

Blame it soley on Strasburg's injury.
If he ended up the year 14-1 with a sub 1 ERA and was healthy, this stuff would be going nuts and everyone would be happy.
Now all people can do is complain about the least expensive bowman chrome break in YEARS.

Topps did this because they wanted to meet the demand that 2010 Bowman had.
I can't imagine they like seeing $250 retail prices on the secondary market for a $50 box.
They wanted to get a cut as well, and if STras never got injured and his chrome rookie was selling for $600 apiece, the prices would not have fallen.

Fine with me, I cant wait to bust this crap at 30.00 a box. i also cant wait to bust some 2010 topps chrome as those continue to drop

First off, it is massively overproduced.
Second, it is overproduced because people thought it would be like Bowman, even though it seemed very clear it wouldn't. The value in 2010 Bowman in terms of Strasburg wasn't necessarily in his autos. Yes, they were nice additions, but the majority of people who ripped didn't make their money through his autos.
They made their money through Strasburg with his base, base chrome, and insert cards. If you sold around his debut you could average almost $300 just from his base stuff alone.
You could have the worst luck in terms of refractors and autos of anyone in the set, yet you would still make $300+ back before selling ANY of your hits.
