he was exposed again in the octagon last night. 3 ufc fights 3 lackluster performances. it was nice to see ellenberger who is a local boy do him like that. kampman should have kept him on his feet and it would be 3 loses in a row for the horse toothed one. hopefully his next opponent can drop his ass and we will be done with the 15 minute bear hug style.

You may not like him, but outside of GSPs 2 UFC losses, not a single fighter other than Jake Shields has been able to win 2 rounds on him on ANY judges scorecards.
How many guys can Henderson drop like that than come back to dominate the next 4 rounds?

The guys standup is very bad but hes a great fighter no matter what and he will be back.

As well I am sure his father passing away 2 weeks ago had to have affected him somewhat!

I have been telling anyone that would listen that Jake (Ellenberger) is the real deal. I have known him and his family for awhile now. He should be un-defeated in his UFC career but was robbed against Condit. Now that he is splitting time between Premier Combat Center in Omaha, NE and Reign Training Center in California...he is going to be un-stoppable. The work he is going with Munoz, Mayhem and all the other guys out there is taking him places he has never been.

His twin brother Joe is just as good at LW. Once he wins the Victory Fighting LW belt on Oct. 14th he should be getting a call from Joe Silva. He already got the call once, but was diagnosed with a life threatning blood disease. He has bounced back with 2 wins since returning to actively fighting and should win this next one.

i may have asked you this already... but are you from omaha? i have met jake briefly a few times at uno sponsored wrasslin events and have a few mutual friends of joes. its always nice seeing someone represent your area with quality performances.

as far as shields. he isnt the type of fighter who imposes his will on equal or more talented fighters. i know ifs dont count but if kamp keeps it upright instead of going to the mat (the teeths ufc total is 0-3), gsp will fight you in the area you excel, and ellenberger tore through him (although) he almost scored a takedown on mulhall. couple that with the saved by the bell against mayhem and jake hasnt had an impressive fight outside of hendo in a long long time.

Nope...not from Omaha. I was stationed out there awhile back. I actually knew Adam (the brother that doesn't fight) before I knew Jake or Joe. He found out I was a MMA freak and invited me out to see Jake fight at one of the VFC cards over in CB. I have know them for about 6 years now.
