Why not ship to PO Boxes?

I have a PO Box, and love it. No having to rush home to get cards out of the mailbox because a storm is coming, or having a bunch come at once so they get crammed in there. If I'm going on vacation no worries about theft. It also gives me a reason to drop off my out going bubble mailers and watch them get scanned, because I want to go to see if I got anything new.

But occasionally I run across a seller that will not ship to a PO Box. They aren't using FedEx or another private shipping company to ship either. I can not come up with one viable reason why someone would not ship to a PO Box, so can you think of any?

I thought it had to do with delivery confirmation but I could be wrong.

Alot of times, an item getting picked up at a PO Box doesn't get scanned in as "Delivered"...
