Why the sudden price jump?

In this month's Beckett, they have increased the prices on all of the 1941 Double Play cards. Every card has increased by at least $50-$100. I thought it was really odd that Beckett would just do that randomly. Any explanations?

Beckett's prices are like a box of chocolates, cause you don't always know how they make them but some people just eat em all up.
