The fact that there is confusion and questions being asked regarding exclusivity and rights and such in the Wieters SP Auth thread kind of shows that not all = experts in understanding the whole MLB, MLBPA deal.

The Wieters case is a completely different animal than the majority of the Razor exclusive contracts for the simple reason that when they signed this deal, Wieters was months away from "MLB ready." Therefore Wieters is probably a bad "guinea pig" for this.

Players like Tim Beckham etc. who won't see the MLB for a couple years will create a serious drought in the marketplace without new releases. And with Upper Deck not being able to release non-roster players, it would require an agreement with Topps to release a Beckham (or similar) card in Bowman...autographed or not.
