Doubtful. They really have no reason to rush him.

AAA, most likely.

For arbitration reasons, I hope not. If someone get's hurt however, I'm for it.

I think no, for the same reasons. Maybe if they are in a tight race and they think he'll be an upgrade, but I doubt they're still in the hunt a month from now.

I actually think he will be. Atlanta is still in a position as an organization where they have to think they can make a run at the playoffs, so when rosters expand they have to influx talent that will actually help them - not saying he's ready to be a star right away, but I think Heyward can handle MLB pitching well enough to give him a shot in September.

Nope rushing a player almost never works. Regardless what you have invested in him its not a good idea.

I can't wait until you're proven wrong here.

I'm with you here. There's no need for him to be up in Atlanta in September.

Jason Heyward needs to marinate in the minors and break into the league in 2010. There's no reason for ATL to call him up this year (echo).

Bill (Atlanta): Who do you take in September? Heyward, Ryan Church or Anderson

Matthew Eddy: If the Braves hang around in the wild card race (and there's little reason to believe that they won't), expect to see more of the two veterans. But Heyward might get a few spot starts to audition for '10.
