Will BDP CASE PRICES be affected?

If i am not mistaken the big supers have been pulled [montero/beckham/davis/posey/porcelloand i think flores. will this negatively affect the case prices of these, esp. those hoarding cases?

i believe even the montero FG, friedrich, avery, and odorizzi have all been pulled (those were some of the bigger names for the base set)

It shouldnt kill the case prices. Personally, I think there are quite a few players in this release that have tons of room to grow...

The cases are loaded with "hits" compared to prior years as the result of lower product levels. If you see any decline in prices it is the result of the economy and absence of the "live" discount in my opinion.

It is way too early to evaluate the true depth of the checklist and MLB potential. I don't see people buying a case or ten cases for that matter with the sole thought of only pulling what is determined to be a "key" superfractor.

Two years or so down the road, the best pull from that set might be someone nobody is hyping today.

well said. i know over the last month i have seen hardly any bdp breaks and the economy might be the reason. i just didn't remember bdp breaking this slow in past years, esp. with the auto cklist.

Many people took advantage of a live discount between 20 and 30%....it is hard to pay full price or $640 per case. I'm sure more than a few people are in the same boat as me....just hoping for another round of 20%+ live discounts.

ok, gotcha. i guess that is also the reason very limited case break at all are happening. thank goodness for AIC case breaks.

I bought two cases, one with 30% live and one with no discount. On the 30% live one i pretty much broke even and on the non discount one I am down about 25-30%. So for me I will not be buying another case unless live rolls around. Its pretty much a guaranteed no loss if you have the discount
