Willie Parker signs with Redskins

Seeing as they already signed Larry Johnson, it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, especially since it is only a one year deal. Why wouldn't they have just signed Parker to team up with Portis and not even bother with Johnson?
Guess they plan on running the ball a lot in Washington this year.

Well last year they have like 274729 running backs hurt. To have 3 viable options is not a bad thing especially when all of them are considered "older" backs.

I hope he's the 3rd string. I didn't see much out of him last year telling me he'd be a better option than LJ at #2.
