This is reason for a new thread - all the patches are terrific and I don't get tired of seeing them. - So I'll start the new thread and hope to see some nice WBC patches in there, even though I have none.

I see Topps is already using the "E" word. Wonder if Razor had anything to do with it. "Topps holds the exclusive rights to produce trading cards of players participating in the 2009 World Baseball Classic."

UD had exclusive rights to the WBC last time around so I don't think it has anything to do with Razor.

A stretch by saying Topps used exclusive due to Razor using it

For as many hat been ripping on razor for copying TriStars and other brands, kind of ironic how using exclusive term is the tables reversed
I am big fan of USA jersey/patches so the World Classic patches sound pretty neat

So they didn't even put letters on the redemptions such as A (for player A, whoever that is going to be, much like the red hot redemptions when Topps announces who they are). Not knowing how many players in the checklist would be a problem with using this method, as you wouldn't know how many letters to assign, however from what I understand, they are just going to distribute these patches out randomly? Seems like inside deals/favoritism/friendly distributions of key patch cards could occur. There is no checks and balances.

2009 bowman sterling should have on card autos, that is what I am hearing

That has been verified by certain people at topps.

Well that we CAN thank Razor for... that's one of the things no one can argue, they are pushing the "big two" to be more consumer friendly.

Until Razor, no other card has been on-card?
