Is anyone else extremely disappointed by the Ranger's seemingly lackadaisical effort? I mean I feel like they just give up when they are down. And yes, I feel very bad for Holland, good job of the Giants taking advantage of the his inability to throw a strike.

Nope, I think they're playing hard, the Giants are just better right now.

Not sure how making 4 errors in that first game meant the Rangers were playing hard but alright. My question to Giants fans is do you think that by winning the world series (I know they haven't done it yet but c'mon) do you still think they need to require a big bat in the offseason through trade or free agency?

Not sure how the number of errors equates to effort.

I still don't think they need a big bat in the offseason. They will probably sign Cody Ross, Burrell, Uribe, and Huff for next year and use their youngsters - Belt, Neal, and Ford. No need for a big bat with the pitching staff that they have.

Yes, they need a big bat, that is a given. You as a team always want to improve and a big bat does just that.

I would assume that the Rangers make the errors because they're trying, stop making excuses for the Giants wins. I know you hate the Giants, mad the team didn't relocate to Florida in the early '90's or you're a Dodger fan, but come on. All fans are homers, they all want their teams to win and get the credit that they deserve. The Giants have scored 20 runs in two games, you asked in an earlier thread how the terrible Giants bats would ever beat Lee. It was done, the error put 1 runner on not the rest that Lee gave up. The Giants have beaten Halladay, Oswalt, Lowe, Hudson, Hamels, Lee and now Wilson, pretty impressive bunch. Errors help but the other team has the ability to come back from them, unless the Giants have soemthing to do about it.

Sign Dunn in LF and Ross, Huff, Uribe and Pat. Belt and ahuff can split time 60/40 with 60 going Huff's way and Pat can PH.
