In the playoffs and 5 to 7 game series I think the dodgers are easily the best NL team. Who is better? Cards?

I'm not saying I don't think they are the best. I'm just saying they aren't "easily" the best because if that was the case they would at least have the best record in the league. That said I don't see much of a drop from dodgers to nationals. Kershaw, Greinke vs strasburg, Zimmerman will be great watches. Who is the dodgers other pitcher now? Not a big NL guy and Ryun is hurt right?

Forget a little team named the nationals? No other teams pitching staff in the playoffs can compete with the Nats. And that's not me being biased, the stats back it up.

Kershaw has to get by the team who beat him twice in the playoffs last year.

Different year!

Any of these matchups would be great to watch:

1. A's-Dodgers

2. Nats-Angels

3. Detroit-St.Louis

4. O's-Pirates

Orioles fans (not on amphetimines): can you give us three reasons why the O's will or can win it all this year?

I'd be fine with anyone other than the Nationals winning it.

Reddick is 4-6 vs Shields this year, with 2 homers, a 3B, and a 2B. Hope that power trend continues tonight.

Dan Quisenberry and maybe Steve Balboni are going to be at the sports bar in my small town in NH tonight. I'll try to dig up a couple early 80's cards and see if I can get The Quiz' to sign. Anybody NEED his auto? I could bring a 3rd card for ya. LMK.

I'd like to see the Dodgers Aces go thru the Tiggers' lineup a bunch of times...

I would love to get Quiz's autograph and I bet you would to. He has been dead for a number of years!

I had check the date of this post.
As McHenry wrote, Quisenberry has been dead for 16 years.

And what's eerie about this post is Quisenberry died on this exact day, September 30th, in 1998.

Turns out my friend was just being an ass to get me to watch the game downtown with him. I had forgotten Quiz died long ago. I'm sure he forgot as well!

Nice win for KC!
