Why can't Yankees fans just be "baseball" fans? I am a Tigers fan, and yeah I wish they were in it. But to act like there isn't a World Series going on is such an entitlement mindset, arrogant, etc. It's not easy to watch your team get beat in the ALCS, but this is the World Series. Are you not a baseball fan if the Yankees get beat? And, shouldn't you be used to that happening?

I'm not trying to be a *****, I just don't understand why you guys don't appreciate what has been a good World Series.

Being a Cards fan, even I have to agree with this! Napoli has been crazy during the World Series. Unless someone REALLY steps up for games 6 & 7, Napoli has it in the bag no matter who wins, in my opinion.

Dont be upset that your team cant buy a title every year. They sure try considering their payroll is more than the cards and the rangers combined.

And with all that money they are saving they cant buy ratings according to the Nielsen ratings.

I predict Game 6 will be one of the best games in World Series history. I think it will be a real nail-biter and will go into extra innings. I will go out on a limb and say that the Cardinals will be down to their final strike TWICE and will miraculously draw even in the 9th and 10th innings. Hometown kid David Freese will hit a triple in the 9th and win it for the Cards in the 11th with a home run.

Game 7 will be a boring affair after the historic sixth game, but the Cardinals will win their 11th title. Two days later Tony LaRussa will retire.

Something tells me these things will all happen.
