You have an amazing collection of Longos! I can see why you feel it's the greatest! I'd be very proud of it as well. Great variety of stuff and some super hard to find cards. I saw several 1/1s in there! Nice job so far. I hope you continue to update and share with us as you get more of his stuff. Keep up the good work! I know his stuff is super expensive too, so I'm sure it's not always easy to just add $5,000 cards to the collection! I think you've got the right idea by diversifying the collection, rather than dumping huge amounts into one or two cards and then being unable to buy some more cards for a long time (of course, that's probably a bad assumption on my part about someone else's economics!).

At least you are collecting a guy who should also retain some long term value, if not continue to increase over the years!

I'm just saying, I have seen oranges and reds on here and I would prefer to have those in my collection rather than the lot. I know you have a lot of low serial numbered autos, but personally, I prefer Chrome Autos. The rarer the better. All other cards and autos, don't really get me excited. Too many brands, too many autos, they just don't stand out to me.

Im not hating on anyone, maybe I got ahead of myself with the title which I admit was a bit much, but I put a ton of time/years, and a ton of money in my collection, so excuse me for boasting a bit about it. I mean that is partially what this site is meant for isnt it?, as for the rainbow yes they are super nice, but as I before Id defiantly would rather have 95-100 different autos rather then the 8 or so it takes to make a rainbow, besides the orange, red, and super are the harder to impossible to get, I can jump on ebay right now and pick up the gold, blue, x, and refractor , (which I intend to do) but as for now Im focused on the rarer harder to find stuff and new cards that come out through the year.

I have no hate for him, his collection, or anyone else here. To me its like someone saying the same thing for Pujols. W/o the BC auto it would be hard to have the Best yadda yadda. My point was also said by the OP by him saying he would rather have a hundred autos over 8 chrome cards - thats what he prefers. I and am sure many would rather have the rainbow up to the red. Its preferance, opinion - all those similar words. It was bad way of going about it. I dont see anyone saying I have the Best Ripken collection, Jeter, and on and on. That is for a reason. I called him out on it and he called me a hater instead of realizing what he did. And Marro, i have seen you bust people's balls for no reason. I was reponding to marro, and in response to your comparison above, Cars don't have rookies. Rcs are some of the most collected cards of anyone. I may have made my point more than i should but had you not been so defensive to everyone and calling them haters as opposed to admiting your part it would have been left alone. Like it should have been. There wasn't a need for ANY of this. I just called out a Pompus opinion and there are other opinions in this world. Most people don't state theirs as fact, unless its saying Yankees suck jk.

This is a hobby that we all partake in for various reasons and we all have varied collecting interests. If Joey thinks his Longo collection is the best in the world, let him think it. What makes collecting anything great is that there is no set guideline of what or how to collect. I see nothing wrong with him claiming that he has the greatest Longoria collection in existence.
