UD Documentary sucked. Using same photo for a bunch of same players cards was lame. Also has about a million cards in the set. I wonder if anyone bothered putting it together.

Not trying to harp on Razor, but while manufactured patches suck, it's at least cool that they look like a nameplate.

When you have a lackluster checklist AND the patches don't match the team colors...

ick.

i think they look pretty good ;)

All Just Minors products from the last several years

-designs that look like they were created by a stoned teenager experimenting with photoshop

-terrible photos

-terrible photo quality. Blurry action shots abound

-tons of airbrushed uniforms

-garishly ugly sticker autos that don't mesh with the design of the cards

-terrible parallels that are hard to differentiate from base cards

-1/1's that are impossible to differentiate other than a hologram on the back

Honorable mention: Moments & Milestones, post 2006 Topps Sterling

Aside from folks hating on Razor in general, I don't understand how Letterman gets thrown under the bus. I love the product and think its one of the best designed letter patch products that was made. Not to mention that it overflows with prospects who have little else due to the razor exclusives. I thought their signature series product was awful, but I love the look and depth of the letterman product

I opened two cases and don't hate this product

but......

Color scheme was stupid
and for every good exclusive player there were a dozen scrubs

Ok, Im calling you out on player selection. Below you will find a list, please tell if any of the below players are scrubs:

Brian matusz
Pedro Alvarez
Matt Wieters
Yonder Alonso
Casey Kelly
Tim Beckham
Justin Smoak
Ike Davis
Gordon beckham
Buster Posey
Mike Stanton
Ryan Westmoreland
Pete Rose
Carlos Santana
Now, That is 14 guys who are absolute stud prospects.

IF you are a prospector, you should be well aware that the rest of the players are not "scrubs". Some of the notable players in the next tier include: Eric Hosmer, Yonder Alonso (should be in top tier probably), Brett Wallace, Aaron Hicks, Aaron Crow, Tanner Scheppers, Jordan Lyles, Dexter Carter, and more.

Its ok not to like the color scheme (heck, I am not a fan myself- there just isnt any other way to do it cost effective). You cannot knock actual patch quality as it is far superior to Major brand patches.
And, to say that only 7 players are good (12 scrubs to one star as you said) is silly. If you actually looked at the full checklist, you would see 35 guys who will probably be nice major league players (without about 10 potentially being STARS!)

Its ok to argue why a product is not good to you, however I always find that sound reasoning with a little research is much more persuasive.

Oh, Christ, here we go.

Though I do like that Pete Rose is considered a "stud prospect".

When I bought a box of Razor for $30 I certainly didn't think it was the worst product ever!

Another nomination of mine: UD Power Deck. Discuss.

95 Fleer. There were 6 different card designs in the base set that were all over the place.

First, he was criticizing player selection (Pete Rose must be a scrub).
Second, I think its safe to say Pete rose is a cant miss at this stage.

It was a joke. I don't care about Lettermen. I wouldn't buy a manufactured patch product whether it was produced by Topps, Razor, or my family; but you don't need to convince me that Rose is popular. I simply chuckled that you listed him as a "stud prospect".

The "Oh, Christ, here we go" stands, though.
