Worst teams for prospects to go...

So, with all the Kelly, Rizzo and Fuentes fire sale on ebay now...it got me thinking.

Which team is the "worst" to get traded to (as a prospect).

So, right now it's the Padres and A's...anyone else? D-Rays maybe (no-love for Helly as an example)?

Agreed. Not only do you lose value on their cards, but now you have to figure out how to send the cards across the boarder in a cost effective way, yet knowingly risking paypal chargebacks. This is my biggest fear with my Drabek collection when he starts to blow up during Spring Training.

Marlins don't have the best market either. Definitely not #1, but probably like 5th or 6th worst market behind most of the teams that have been named already in this thread.

Guys like Stanton (and maybe even Maybin) transcend the crummy market because of their super-prospect status, but for most guys, pretty weak.

Sad to say even in Canookistan they're hard to move...but that's because hockey is king. The Canadian version of the National in TO (Expo) is 80% hockey related. The major brands never promote baseball.

Still there's a hardcore group of us that keep the baseball vibe goin here locally. Usually at the lcs or the once a month show that's barely holding on.
