With no Authentication it more than likley worth more to your Uncle than anyone else.
Did he even get a picture as they signed it?
I think that if he threw it on ebay it would sell pretty decent so long as he shows really good and close scans of the autos. There are plenty of people who have a great knowledge of whats real and fake and buy things that are not authenticated so they can send them in to get authenticated themselves. No matter what it may be worth thats still a pretty sweet item. Good luck!

Seems like a great item.....but with no authentication it's tough to say how much it's worth.
Since it's real - it'd be one of those things someone gets at a steal, cause I'm sure it'd only sell for a fraction of what an actual game used autographed ball would go for.

Personally, I wouldn't even see the point in trying to sell it. Even if you get the auto's certified, not sure they can authenticate the ball as game used? Just seems a shame to sell something like that for $100-200 bucks and not hold on to it...or give it to your kid or someone else in your family that would appreciate and cherish it.

As everyone has stated it is hard to put a value without authentication. Especially since he's claiming it's a "Game Used" basketball which if he didn't get certification when he bought it then it's just a ball. Big difference in price. He can get the autos certified but he can never claim, legitimately, that it is a "Game Used" ball.

That's cool then.
Cause like I was saying - seems like it should be one of those "priceless" pieces to whomever was lucky enough to get it. And could be off base, but i'd imagine if it was authenticated and sold through like NBA auctions it would probably get hundreds if not past a thousand.

On ebay - not so much......
Just found this completed listed for comparison.

Maybe that auction had some sort of red flags i'm missing.....but the ending price seems to show how undervalued an item like that is going to sell for when it's just somebodies word.

That auction just proves what has been stated. No authentication, just a claim that it was a "game used" ball and all the autos are uncertified/authenticated. Plus I think the seller is giving the "hard sell" too much and no one bought into it.
