lol Where are all the posts asking where he lives? Who's asking for his address and personal information? lol Get real.

They want his name. They have his ebay id. people already know where he lives. it's most likely talked about earlier in this thread. What other personal information did I talk about?

I dont think anyone cares what this guys real name is, people want to know if he has a well known FCB/Old BMB screen name. Is that not the infatuation with Wossa?? That he is indeed a regular poster who has been in our community for years? I thought thats why people wanted to "know" who he is. Its made out to sound like he has been a regular poster for years and thats why i thought people wanted to know who he was.

Well that takes away a ton of the "mystique" for me  I thought he was a well known poster like jaypers, brettkeith, muchuckwagon or alike. Thats what i thought made this story "interesting", that he was indeed an active member. :benson:

Nope. He just enjoys reading and I'm sure he's getting a chuckle from this thread. I have been told what his screenname is in the past but for the life of me I can't remember it. I guess its a good thing though that he remains out of the limelight as people would blow up his inbox asking about this or that, if he wants to trade for some prospect card, or if he's selling or going after anyone in an upcoming product.

I honestly could give two rips about who he is. I think I sold him a Lincecum SPA By The Letter Rookie auto back in 07. It was a great transaction and I since moved on.

I just read all 9 pages and lauged quite a bit.
It's a person with deeper pockets than us (like another member said) and that kind of gets to us (jealousy) since we can't buy what we want, when we want it. I admit it. I'm jealous because I'd love to be able to do the same. However, if I could, I'd definately not let anyone know to avoid having 1000 messages a day or just being bothered.
ood to the folks who know who he (or she) is and keep it private.
I belong in the club who don't know. Honestly am curious but I won't try to find out. Good for him (her) if the pockets are deep. Usually that means hard work.

Oh and I mentioned "her) a few times because nobody seemed to bring that up. You might be all wrong thinking it's a man. There are women interested in the hobby as well.

Well, anyways, this is fun to read every 6 months. I'll keep en eye open sometime in June. :D

Happy Holidays everyone!

What is even funnier than the people dying to know who he is are the people who actually know but are using it as a means to earn "cool points" around the boards. If I knew, I would tell. It's not like you have to be special to know who he is. All you have to do is own a high end card he wants and presto, you're special. Go out and buy 10 cases of Draft and I promise you'll find out who he is if you pull anything remotely decent. Then you can be one of the people that says, "I know who he is but i'm not telling because i'm uber cool and I don't need to disclose the names of people I deal with, etc". If he really cared if people knew his identity, he wouldn't deal under one ebay tag and show his real name to people who he buys from.

He's just a guy. Has a regular name and is not a celebrity so knowing his name wouldn't do anything to spark interest. The curiosity is unwarranted.

If that's true, then why do all the people who know his name hold it hostage and act like it's some right of passage. Why not just say he's Joe Blow and be done with it.

Because if he wanted it out there, he would just say it. Why should we do that? On a side note, there will be online scans of some of his collection up hopefully in the next year....

It's happening here again. If he's a nobody with money, why all the mystery? Why can't you simply and honestly say "He's nobody, don't worry about it". Why pique people's curiosity by acting like it's some knowledge that only people in the know can fathom.

this thread is just as bad as all the Razor threads.

But the person it is about laughs at this. It would be like a Razor thread if Wossa came in and argued his side.
