Would Mcgrady be a good fit for the Cavs?

I'm not talking crazy money or longterm deal/Somehting in the range of 3-4 years.

Nobody is signing McGrady to a 3-4 year contract. Sorry.

Hell no! The guy is overrated and hardly a team player. Rockets made it to the second round last year without him.

Perfect fit! Neither have ever, nor will ever win shat. Why would anyone ever want to play in Cleveland? You see how classless ownership and fans are. Cleveland sucks, always has always will.

I read where the Clippers are interested in McGrady. Given McGrady's health, this would seem to be a perfect fit for the Clippers.

I agree with you on Mcgrady being classless. This guy dropped Toronto in a dime to go to Orlando. Then went to Houston. A journey man that went searching for a ring the easy way. As for Cleveland fans?? I dont know how classless they are. They seem more passionate about their players/team. Outside of burning of the jerseys, they had a reasonable excuse to be upset for the way Lebron served them the news. He made a circus out of it and left them hanging to dry. Im sure fans of other teams would feel the same way if their star player did that.

First I never said mcgrady was classless, reread it! Cleveland fans are frontrunning losers. You watch, now that lebron left, you will have 5000 fans w night. Gilbert should have offered to rename the cabs to the brons. That franchise value dropped by a half a billion when king left.

I think McGrady needs to go to a winner and act as a complimentary player. I don't see what the point of him in Cleveland is. He isn't a player to build around anymore, and that's what Cleveland needs. I'd just stay with what they have right now and wait for a nice draft pick and cap space next offseason.

How are we front running losers when we never have won anything in nearly 50 years? We are passionate about our sports and our city, but why would people want to spend an arm and a leg to watch a mediocre product? Not a lot of people. I attend a ton of Cleveland sports a year even though our teams aren't good.

I'm pretty sure you know nothing about sports, sorry bro.

EDIT: Nobody is gonna give T-Mac a 3-4 year deal...except maybe Kahn.

I guess I'm in the minority......because I think it would be worth the shot to bring him in on a one year deal in Cleveland. Why not take the chance on a low risk/ high reward type deal - when you lost so much with Lebron leaving.
Gotta figure he knows his career would be riding on how he plays and acts....so if (and I know a big if) he's healthy he could be valuable and maybe eve used to pick some picks/players up at the trade deadline.

To me the Clippers sounds like a worse fit. Figure that team already has enough parts and a lot of young players already....I don;t really see how adding McGrady to the mix helps them out.

Indians fan had a record sell out streak win the were good in the 90s, they can't even half fill their yard now.

Football sells everywhere except Jacksonville and L.A., so that doesn't count. Modell and his torn sack had to run to Baltimore to win! Smart move.

And Cleveland roots for a "University" full of thugs and paid athletes that is a 3 hour drive away! Your rivers catch on fire, and Bernie Kosar sucked! Other than those things I agree with Drew Carey, "Cleveland Rocks!"

McGrady is not a good fit for anyone.

I think Sam Smith convinced me of that after reading a bunch of his articles on Bulls.com.
I couldn't believe how little he thought of McGrady - and basically said if the Bulls were to sign him it would negate everything positive they had done this season and turn them form a 50 win team to 40 at best.....it was harsh to say the least.
