Had the Rams not drafted Bradford, would Clausen still be there in round 2? Would have totally changed the outcome of the draft.

The Rams should draft Clausen and line two QBs up in the backfield parallel to each other. You'll never know who the snap is going to until it's too late. Hey, it's the Rams, can't get much worse so why not?

If clausen is there in the 2nd round when only 1 QB selected, why wouldnt Clausen be there if that qb didnt go #1?

I think they still take him #1 either way.

If they would've passed on Bradford, they could've picked either Suh or McCoy. Then they could use their 2nd round pick on Clausen, who I think is going to have a better career than Bradford anyways. If that would've happened, I wonder how far Bradford falls until someone picks him?

I am not sure he falls that far. I think one of the teams like Browns, Chiefs or someone else would've gotten him.

Yeah, I think the Browns would've taken him.

He very well could have been, but not guaranteed. Im just saying had St Louis not taken Bradford #1 it would have totally changed the outcome of the draft, many teams would have ended up with different players and a team that say had Clausen as their #2 man, might have had to take him in the first round, had another team chosen "their" guy (regardless of position).

Oh and there was 2 QBs taken in round one :)

Didn't think of that.
They could have had a San Diego type scenario - when they passed on Vick and ended up with LT and Brees.

I guess theoretically I'd say that could be the case. Especially because Suh is so good, no matter who they get in the 2nd they won't be near his talent.....while it may not be a huge gap between Bradford/Clausen.
Though I'm starting to think maybe those in charge really think Clausen blows. lol Or maybe there is some medical report or something else from the process we don't know about that is hurting him. To have everyone pass on him, no one to trade up to get him, is a pretty bad indictment toward how the league feels about him at this point.

The real question is...had Bradford been available at #25, would the Broncos still have taken Tebow?

Jimmy Clausen = Jay Cutler

That's what I keep seeing when I think of Clausen and not sure if it's good or bad for him lol.
The rest.....

Sam Bradford = David Carr
Tim Tebow = Vince Young
Colt Mccoy = ?????????? I really have no idea with McCoy.

The Rams taking Bradford really cleared up a lot. If say 2 months ago the Rams make it known that Suh is going to be taken first overall. Maybe now the Skins don't trade for McNabb since they pretty much know Bradford would be there at 4. The Lions would probably have taken McCoy and then the Bucs at 3 would be a prime spot for a team to trade up to get Bradford since I bet the Bucs would have been looking to move down with Suh and McCoy both gone.

Who knows where Clausen would have gone if Bradford didn't go 1. I bet there would have been quite a bit of movement in the top couple picks.
