Most gift cards sold on Ebay were not purchased by the seller. Example, I got a gift card for 100.00 from Old Navy from work as my Dirty Santa gift. I dont like Old Navy so I listed it on Ebay for $9.99 and got $95.00 Paypal to spend where I like.... I do accounting for a Holiday Inn Express and you wouldn't believe the amount of gift cards our Hkers get that guest have either lost or left in the room. We put them in storage for 30 days and after 30 days Alice the HK takes home a $25.00 Itunes gift card and a $50.00 Banana Republic gift card. You can't call the guest because 80% of the time people claim stuff that wasn't left by them. We see this a lot of times around Christmas.
