preping is needed for most cards for Sharpie to stick on it. Doing it on 5+ year old cards doesn't really prove anything. Most cards need to be prepped for sharpies, especially chromes and refractors.

If you think there's a difference from the chrome cards from 5 years ago, then maybe there's a difference in sports. I just signed a Dallas Baker chrome from '07 and guess what....no bubbling. There are also two types of Sharpies that most people don't pick up on when they use them.

They both look the same, but one is "Quick Dry" and doesn't bubble. It dries instantly and comes out clear as day. I don't know the color selection other than black. Unless you look for the quick dry written on the market in smaller font, you wouldn't even know it wasn't the old fashioned standard Sharpie.

And Tim - I could have used that Dantzler. I don't have any rookies of him :twisted: :lol:

Sorry bro, it came off but you can see some some of it still. If I would've taken it off right away last night it would probably be good.

DO NOT USE A RED MARKER!!!

I can't stress this enough, it can not hold on chrome. Only use blue or black on chrome.
