I recently ordered a 98 Playoff Contenders auto Tim Dwight, and received it yesterday. Sadly, I did this without seeing a photo of the card, and the autograph has some bubbling to it.
So here's my inner conflict: this card is strictly PC, and I have no intention to ever sell it down the road. Should I take the chance and touch it up with a blue marker to make the auto look better? It would definitely enhance its look, but at the same time, I feel like it may take away some of the allure of having a signed card. That, and I'm afraid I would screw it up somehow. That being said, I'm a definite perfectionist with my cards, and having a bubbled one like that bugs me.
Thoughts/opinions?
