There is this potential con man over on some other forum trying to fool suckers into paying for him to meet Bo Jackson. Bo is charging 100 per autograph and this scumbag is trying to pocket the extra cash so he doesnt have to use his own money. The autograph cost $100 dollars and asking for 5 other people to pay an extra $25 dollars is outrageous to me. Bo Jackson certified autos from licensed companies can be had for as little as 40 dollars. Thoughts please..

In person auto at shows will usually cost more than anything you can pull out of a pack. If he is charging $25 to get someone else an auto who can't make it and that person is willing to pay it then I don't see a con at all.

If the guy is doing the leg work and waiting in line and it's a legit signing I don't see the problem.....now if it's not a real signing and he's pocketing the $125 then that's a "con"

The guy was basically begging and threw a sob story out there for sympathy. He is basically saying that he wants to go meet Bo and get his card signed but he needs to use your money to do it. Did Bo just announce his appearance yesterday? This guy most likely had months to raise up the 100 bucks he would need for the event. I could make that in a month giving plasma or doing research studies!

It is legwork that he is trying to do anyway! There is not $25 dollars worth of extra work in handing Bo Jackson another card to sign and mailing the card back to the sucker.

He's using his resources to print the cards, and those are not cheap considering the quality of mouschi customs. Then he has to drive to the signing, who knows how long of a drive or how long of a wait it is once he gets there. There are plenty of guys in the hobby that take items on consignment, even at some signings. I don't see how you can even consider him a "con."

Look if some is willing to pay him for his time at his price, its their choice... Wouldn't call it a con it's doing business

There are a lot of professions that I think make too much money but if someone is willing to pay that profession that money then so be it just like if someone is willing to pay the extra $25 wether it is to just hand BO a card or not then it is worth it to the person paying the $25

This ins't a con at all. If I absolutely loved a player and wanted a personalized inscription auto but couldn't make it, I'd pay someone the extra $25 to go out there and get the auto for me - why is this making you so upset?

People that make customs and release them into the community(sell them to dumb ****s) leave a bad taste in my mouth already. Who cares how long of a drive it is. This is a drive he is already willingly try to do. He is just trying to meet Bo Jackson at the expense of other dumb ****s.

if Bo Jackson didnt already have 100s of thousands of certified autographs out there, then this might make a little sense to me. Let's not forget his autographs can be had for less than a third of the price moushi was asking. I am just glad he only found one other dip**** to fall for it, so he could not go!

So your real problem is someone making customs? I for one love customs. If your problem is with his hustle then I also don't agree with that, but everyone is allowed to have their own opinion.

And it upsets you that he is getting "Something for nothing"....well if he can pull it off legitimately, meaning he gets the autos to others who paid, more power to him...

I don't think you're going to find a lot of support for your crusade against Mouschi here. Maybe you'd have more success going to the original board it was posted on and making the argument there.

Oh wait...nevermind.

He didn't and I knew he wouldn't. It was just a desperate move that rubbed me the wrong way. Who the heck cannot come up with $100 dollars they know they needed over a month in advance? I would not trust that kind of person in the first place. You can make at least 60 dollars a week just giving plasma in any major city in the USA. I have 10 friends that would let me borrow 100 dollars right now and give me 6 months to pay them back if I needed. This is not even counting family members I can hit up(and usually do). Something with this just does not sit right with me.
