My PSA order was just shipped to come back to me today, so I decided to take a look at the grades. I can't help but think that the grades I saw was some kind of a joke. I am a vintage collector, so I know what grades to expect when I send cards in. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed.

Here are the scans of the cards I sent in. Scanned them right before I packed them up. The only explanation for the grades I see on the webpage would be either the wrong information posted, or when the package got there, the cards were severely tampered with.

I'll post the grades as popped after a few replies. I want the seasoned grading collectors to give an unbiased opinion on what you think these grade at. I'm willing to bet you'll be as shocked as I was. The only card I agree with was the Mays as I had thought it was trimmed.

Let see what you think the grades are off of the scans. All the cards had very clean backs with no writing, creasing, tape marks etc... Then I'll reveal the grades it says they have on PSA's website

Here is how it went down, I'll list what the cards should've gotten as a minimum and what they did get. Again very frustrated as aside from the Mantle, these cards were chosen specifically for condition out of my collection.

55 Robinson: 6-----3
57 Mantle: 3-----1
57 Mays: Trimmed or 8-----Trimmed
58 Aaron: 6-----4
64 Williams: 8-----2
69 Rose: 8-----5

I guess whatever works. I've got the PSA membership, so I'd prefer to do it with them. I think SGC would be a little bit cheaper though. I'll figure out all of the #'s when I get these cards back. I just got the 2009 PSA prices/submission fees pamphlet i the mail, so I'll have to check and see what everything is going to cost.

Anyways, you wanna take a guess at what you think these cards shouldv'e graded at?

Sounds good to me man...You think we will be able to send them out before the 20th though? [That's when I go back to college]

And from left to right, top to bottom: 5, 3 [looks creased to me], 7, 6, 7, 4

Close?

 Tough break on those cards. I was wondering did you take at least a 20X loupe to the cards before you decided to submit them? Perhaps you have overlooked a crease or other surface defects. I am in no way trying to defend the way PSA grades cards. Some of their graded cards that I have seen on ebay or other auction sites are very questionable. I wish you the best.
