I don't know anything about Josh Johnson, so you'll have to forgive my ignorance.
Why do you consider it a steal? None of his other autos seem to come close to that.

He's a stud of a pitcher but has had Tommy John surgery already so it's hard for me to invest that kind of money in him, even at 25.

The Marlins will likely lose him after 2010.

...some projections have him signing a 9 figure contract when he does indeed leave the Marlins. He is that good.

Apologies to you....I had a snipe set at 99.99. Hey, if he does end up in NYC, SELL! I was sniping JUST because of the ebay down time, and am shocked at how low it ended with all of the big market specualtion around a possible Johnson move.

Very nice price on that! During the season the regular versions #'d/999 were going for $30-$40 at one point. I really like Johnson and have a small PC of him on the side.

No need to apologize It was at $51 with 12 seconds left or so and I was getting stoked. Had my max of $111.51 in. Lost the Sterling Red when I knew I should've went $30 more than what I had put in ::facepalm:: . If he moves, I'm literally sitting on a Cash for Goldmine (but I wouldn't move anything )


carter - I won a Black Topps Chrome Refractor Auto /200 for about $14 shipped too. During the season that was around $40 - $50, so I'm stoked about that. When he dueled with Johan in his second '09 start (which was on TBS), his stuff was white hot. Topps Chrome Refractor Autos /500 were going for at least $45. I didn't move any of mine then ...

This one here seemed to go incredibly cheap. I had lost a few back in '08, for about $20 shipped (either because I bid and forgot to re-bid or just forgot to bid at all) and couldn't pry one outta a guy's store for $37 shipped in May . Won one finally for about $25 shipped in June (on auction).

Got this one mere moments ago though. $11 shipped is incredibly cheap :shock:

Super - No clue on the % of what I own. Need to finding and winning some plates to bump up the percentage though.
