any idea who it may be?
adrian gonzalez? dan uggla? they have both been rumored.. i think the deal to send vasquez away for those players is stupid and there has to be a second part to it. could it be gonzalez or uggla?
they could throw a package together including schafer, spruill, maybe the newly acquired prospects?
in the audio frank wren says he is in the mix for a guy that can hit 30+ homeruns.
hmm?

If we got gonzalez I'd need to change my pants... :D
you have been thanked.. because that would make 2 of us and im sure there would be plenty more braves fans that would have to change their pants too.. he was asked about laroche and he said that he will see what happens but has not talked with his agent.. so we are going to need a first baseman! :D

It's not Gonzalez unless Hanson is going the other way (which will not happen).

i think if we give up freeman im sure the padres would consider some other prospects.. the padres held out on jake peavy last year and look how that worked out for them.

i have also heard damon but i dont think they would add a left handed bat unless its someone like gonzalez who is a absolute monster. i dont think they would add laroche again unless worse comes to worse and i dont think they will add damon.. but if they have the chance to add gonzalez im sure they would jump all over it.. maybe its uggla? they have been looking for a right handed bat and his name has been thrown around.

They have no use for Freeman. Kyle Blanks is already there and ready to take over when Gonzalez leaves. The Padres need SS, SP, C, and CF. The names that you mentioned would not get a trade done. Start thinking of names including Heyward, Hanson, and Jurrjens if you are thinking of Gonzalez.

The yanks can keep Damon, I'm not interested. ::facepalm::
neither am I. i think hes an overated player and his production will severely slip if he goes anywhere outside of the bronx.
