My uncle has one from when he was with the MArlins, it is rediculous. Too big to even wear.

The ring is obscenely large. I don't have the biggest hands in the world, but it can't be comfortable to wear... and just a tad gaudy.

Back in the day, girls would wind yarn around their boyfriend's class rings to make them fit better. (Do kids do that anymore?) Saw the same thing in 1993, when Reggie Jackson's dad, Martinez Jackson, was at Fanfest in Baltimore signing autos. He was wearing Reggie's 77 WS ring, with blue yarn wrapped on it to make it fit. That thing was HUGE! He would gladly hold it up to let you take a closer look. Oh, yes I did!

it's a LOOOONG story... but long story short, we went from an age based little league to a talent based little league and added another competitive divsion at the top of our "minor" leagues.

It was a lot of work.

We talked for about 2 hours about everything...other Phillies, Pee Wee Herman, former Phillies minor leaguers, Cole Hamels, other guys, Kyle Kendrick and his arbitration deal, and lots of other things and he eventually left to go back to the Phillies spring training stadium to keep working out.

No one else noticed this. :lol:

Google Scott Mathieson and Pee Wee Herman. I didn't know about this story. Now, Pee Wee is singing Happy Birthday to Scott every year and he's on his x-mas card mailing list.
