These players nowadays wouldn't have lasted a day under Bear Bryant. James would have thrown up his lungs the 1st day.

This all started because James came to pratice with shades on and boasted that he didn't have to pratice. This rubbed Leake the wrong way because it is rumored that James had no problem going out partying yet couldn't pratice the day of the night he went out partying.

I played HS ball for a legendary program in the Chicago Catholic League. Our coaches would punch us in the face mask if we screwed up and would run us until we puked. No water buckets for us. There was a bucket with a wet towel and we would suck on that towel if we needed agua. Nobody ran home and told mom and dad becasue mom and dad would have kicked us in the butt then.
With that being said, I would be sued in aheart beat if I tried any of that today while coaching my players.
The years of Ditka, Bear Bryant, Lomabrdi, Woody H, and Papa Bear Halas are loooooong gone.

The kid should have been told to either stay on sidelines, go to film room, go to legit training room, or get the frick out of there. Not placed in 2 isolated places with the sole intention of making an example out of him

First of all it is Leach, not Leake, but that is beside the point.
Running your players until they puke is called conditioning. Locking a kid in a closet is considered hazing, or you you could call it neglect.
Either way, if it is true that he did indeed lock this kid in isolation, he should be canned. He didn't help himself by being a ass to his bosses either. Anyone in the real world pulls that, they get fired, why not this guy?
