My late father had a rather nice baseball card collection, including Ruths, Cobbs, Gehrigs, etc. His best card (to my knowledge) was the 1952 Topps #311 Mickey Mantle. Unfortunately, his collection was destroyed in a fire before I was born. He passed away six months after I was born in 1987.
The '52 Mantle is a card I can't realistically obtain (at least for many years). Luckily, Topps loves to make reprints of this card. Here are the reprints I have so far:
