wow...what a poor performance. by the entire team...except texeira so far

how can you say its a poor performance by the whole team...**** and claggett gave up 8 runs each and its only the fourth...that basically leaves the team with no chance

they have 2 hits

and its only the fourth inning.....that happens every single day in the major leagues

**** has basically always been a POS. I dont care about his 19 win seasons, what did he do in those 2 playoff games in 07? same thing, batting practice crap. Not sure how he has made it this far, but he is done. Yankees are also done, something happened to this team several years back, and every year is a repeat of the last. horrible losses, bad chemistry. I was a yankee fan for years, but this team is just not the same as the 90's teams, jeter or no jeter or anyone else. as i have said before, this team will NOT win another championship in any of our lifetimes.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to crucify ****? I obviously think there's something wrong with him as everyone else does, but he was the best starter the team had for a while. I'm obviously disappointed with him, and think something needs to be done. But I also think he can be corrected. This is basically the first time he's ever struggled. So one strike and you're out? Send him down and see what happens. He was VERY GOOD for this team for a while. People seem to forget what he can be.

The problem with **** is that his entire value is in his sinker. If that's not working, he's a well below average pitcher. Very, very few pitchers can succeed with striking out so few batters. To many people ****'s struggles have only been a matter of time.
That said, my bet is on an injury of some sort. Nobody's this bad.

they are done. It isnt about any number of games in, its about what happens every year. Go back and find out when this team had a good april, when they led a division easily, when they didnt crap out in the playoffs. since the 03 series, which they lost, they have basically played 840 games and done nothing. they might go 106-56, but they will lose eventually.
the will be the 21st centuries red sox and cubs, thats all there is to it.

There really is something up with the way the ball is carrying. Balls that look like shallow fly balls are getting out of the park.

What is the most runs ever scored by a single team in a Major League Baseball game?
In: Baseball History [Edit categories]

Answer

The most runs scored by a single team in a Major League Baseball game is 36, set by the Chicago Colts (now the Chicago Cubs) against the Louisville Colonels (which joined the National League in 1892) on June 29, 1897. The modern record is 30 by the Texas Rangers in a game against the Baltimore Orioles on August 22, 2007. The Rangers won that game 30-3.
