The elbow really didn't seem all that bad...

Guess it's just because they had something started already.

Definitely not an accident though - clearly Posada wanted more than just the run he scored.

Absolutely not an accident.

Oh Canada......
Ok, here is my take.... for starters Fernando Rodney got 2 games for throwing a ball into the stands after a win, in my opinion Posada needs to get atleast 5 games here.... He started this whole situation, how long has he been a major league catcher? this happens almost every night in baseball and has basically always been part of the game.

He pointed his bat at Carlson and said everything that needed to be said.... I could tell he was still pissed standing at 2nd base when the TV camera's showed him. But even though it wasn't as hard as Posada wanted it to be the elbow was uncalled for and downright dirty.... He started the whole thing and I think the league needs to come down harder on him then anyone else in the "Brawl".

Yes Carlson got a nasty bump... But that will happen when it's 5 on 1.... or so it seemed from the video I seen.... But yeah I actually found this exciting and laughable almost! Now the Jays want to play with some passion ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

Anyways that's a slightly bias take but also what most people will feel after watching througout.

Thanks.

haha slightly? Now ask yourself this while watching it why was the pitcher on that side of the catcher and not backing him up? We both know why but its all Jorges fault.

carlson started it throwing behind posada and carlson stood exactly where he knew posada would be running past. carlson is a ********* who deserved to have a huge welt on his head. and once he got ejected he stayed in the dugout and hid behind others players and continued to talk crap even though he wasnt allowed to be there anymore.

The jays got hit twice this game and plenty of times last series... if the same thing happened to the yankees, yankees fans will be crying about it and would demand retaliation...carlson threw well behind posada...posada should have just taken it like a man and not take a cheap shot at carlson especially when his team is in contention and has more to lose

A cheap shot is standing in the line of the runner when you are supposed to be behind home and the opposite side of the field. Not a elbow graze for a guy that was standing out of position.

Or possibly, he saw there wasn't going to be a play, and stopped running? So he was out of position - why does that make it OK to even make a half-assed attempt at an elbow? If Posada was the bigger man, why didn't he just run to the dugout?

Posada, quit being a baby. He threw behind you. Big deal, suck it up.

I got a laugh out of watching hill and tex hugging and backing away from the scrum. Tex looked like a huge pansy.....

I try,
I get a kick out of these fights. You can really tell who is willing to mix it up and will not get anywhere near it. I can confidently say I would not want TEX on my side in a bar room brawl. Give me barajas or shelly duncan!
