Brian I'll give you a lot of credit. You're the only Yankees fan here taking the heat.

Then again, it's 2:30 in NY. Middle school doesn't get out for another hour

Rodriguez and Texiera will be there for a while. Cano is still young. Posada doesnt have much left, they have Romine. Gardner is relatively young. Dont know how long they will sign Jeter for this year. Dont see them resigning Swisher. Pettite is on his way out. They have no choice but to get younger.

I would just like to see A LITTLE FIRE in ANYONE on this team. They are all WAY too comfortable with their status on the team and contracts. I miss Paul O'Neill

You guys are like family to me. And besides, I'm somewhat of a realist. I love my team but at the same time, when they are doing **** the wrong way, they deserve to be called out on it. They flat out SUCK right now and I just want to get this **** over with. But then again, I get to sit through a few months of constant rumors about what old ass player the yankees will sign to fix things. They will offer a salary to Lee that will probably be able to buy a handful of third world nations.....and then they'll probably go after Crawford. And thats not the way to fix it.

Fire Cashman.
Fire Girardi
Shake up the roster....start from the basics and rebuild it. Oh yeah, and drop Mo, Jorge, Jeter, and a few others off at the rest home.

Does anyone here think the Yanks will try and get young one day and not sign every 33 yeard old FA??
They have some good prospects, so they will be getting younger.

Do they have good actual legit prospects or do they just get the hype because their in the Yanks organization?
There pitching prospects are legit. Romine is legit. Not sure about Montero, he may be hyped.

If the Yankees offer Jeter any more than 3 years/$15 million, they are retarded

Wouldn't even care if they went $25mil for two...but no way more than 2-3 years.

Thank you. So much. Really.

I mean, in the not so distant future, who will you DH? Jeter or ARod? Which one of these will you let on the field to play "defense" ? I can't see Jorge catching another year, and unfortunately that might be it for Andy; Tex and Cano are here for a few years, so are Gardner and Golson. So for the next 3 years we need: C, 3B, SS, LF, SPx2 if you count in CC, Hughes and Lee (if he doesn't stay in Texas, which I would understand)...

But Tex's problems haven't just been in the post season. He hit like .250 this year.

Jorge runs like he has a piano on his back and cj wilson could have jogged over to home and beat him by 3 steps.

No. I'm saying 3 years, $15 million TOTAL

Face it. The guy is 37 years old. He batted .260 something with 11 home runs and 60 RBI (I'm just guessing, but I think it's pretty close to that). And one thing people don't mention, he's got a LOT of mileage on the odometer. Remember, he's played the equivalent of a full extra season or more with all the playoff games.

Sorry, I know he's the face of the franchise, but he's not 30 anymore. And $5 mil/year is still pushing it. You can find the same production for much cheaper

Of course I want to see them overpay and sign him to a huge contract, but it's a stupid baseball move
