That was really sick. Rain pouring, 99 mph from Zumaya, lifted that **** into the 2nd deck. Tex was such an important signing for this team.

It doesn't have to be about Alex all the time. The overall game Tex has brought to 1B has been huge for this team after having a butcher there for the past seven years. He hadn't homered in a month and it doesn't even matter. He helps the team win everyday, even if he isn't hitting. Of course A-Rod has helped him, as he would help anyone.

Lovin a bullpen with Hughes and Joba. Pickup another starter, and no matter how long their SP goes, they have a bridge to Mo.
at the beginning of the season i was completely against this idea but now... Hughes has just looked so good out of the pen and with Joba's slight struggles recently, if they could find a good starter, i wouldnt be completely against this idea.soccerman034 said:

I have to admit, I was ready for a deal involving Phil. In fact I was hoping for it. But now, I am eating those words. He's been great out of the pen.
I just love how evey time "numba1yankeefan" makes a post on the Yankees every Yankee Hater comes on bashing him and telling him how nobody cares about the Yankees.
But boomo comes on every other Yankee game and bashes the Yankees and tells how bad they are, yet they end up winning almost all the time.
He's just a bitter fan of another team (Mets maybe?
) and has nothing better to do than bash on the Yankees.
By the way, in May Ortiz left 12 on in 7 at-bats while getting no hits, now that's the way to win.

Boomo is actually a Yanks fan ... and his reverse Psych seems to lead to more strange Yankee wins than not ... I'm not complaining! Go Phil .. can't wait to see him in the rotation next year.
