No disrespect to the rest of the remaining teams, but it feels like this is the year that the Brewers win it all. They are tough to beat at home and will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

So you're saying the whole team is gonna get together, go down to Busch, and watch the World Series on the big TV?

I really thought the Tigers would get to the WS but Verlander just hasn't been as dominant as I expected. I'm sure the two rain delayed games didn't help matters...

Did you see the game yesterday or where you drinking too much Cardinal Kool Aid???
One game doesn't end a series. They beat the Phillies, they are capable of defeating the Brewers. They may not ultimately, but they have a good shot.

True. They could always try to sneak a squirrel into Miller Park and release it onto the field at a crucial moment.

Trying to temper optimism and remain on an even keel about the Brewers. They look great and I like their chances, but I don't want to get too worked up looking ahead and then be disappointed if they lose. They've been fun to watch so far though.

Now there's a brave prediction!

I actually didn't realize that there was such a consensus that the Brewers were now the team to beat. There are a couple teams that are still playing that knocked off the Yankees and Phillies after all.

It's the year of the Brewers... in the National League.
The Rangers will spank them in the World Series.

I will be happy if they at least reach the World Series. The Cardinals are tough and one game will not determine if they will be heading to the Series. Unless the Brewers can find someone to fill the 4 and 5 holes in the batting order next year I don't think they stand a chance reaching the playoffs for quite some time. This is the year to show to do it.

Did you see the game tonight? I mean, is the series over in your mind now just because the Cardinals whooped up on the Brewers in game 2 worse than the Brewers did to the Cardinals in game 1?????????

I agree with you, Washington and Maddux are making better decisions than last year. Once he felt tonights game was gonna go longer, He took Ogando out and preserved him for the consecutive games to come.
