b/c Theriot pretty much matches Tulo offensively stat for stat except for HR and AVG. Tulo has the edge in HR and Theriot has the edge in AVG by almost 30 points. Add the flavor of Cub fans and your get your popular vote.

Why in the world would you count Ryan Theriot over Tulo? A lot of the time the stars get voted in even if their performance isn't up to par with some other guys. That's just the way voting goes. Even Cubs fans would rather see Tulowitzki out there in the AS game over Ryan Theriot.

The fans only vote for the starting 8 defensive players. The pitchers and the reserves are chosen by the managers.

Seriously, there is no need to defend Tulo here. Depending on your age, I've known about the All-Star voting just as long as you have.

I merely added "the Cub flavor" comment to barbecue the fact that Tulo has no chance in hell as an All-Star. Theriot was like FIFTH on my list of SS better than Tulo. That means that five SS have a better shot at an AS appearance that Tulo. Not five players, FIVE SS!

I really can't put it any more bluntly.

Fans don't look at your list when they vote.

Nothing is my problem. You are reading too much into it and taking it too personally. I have nothing against you or anything against Tulo.

I'm merely stating Tulo has no shot at making the AS team.

You are the only one in this thread that is being argumentative.

I'm not even the one that brought Tulo up and my 2 major points are that Rollins shouldn't be 1st in voting or be an all-star this year and that Hanley should be the starting SS. But you continue to bash Tulo and act like I'm an idiot for holding out a little hope. There is no reason for it.

Tejada!!! :D :D :D

I know it looks like a "homer-call" for me to choose Tejada as the 2nd best SS after Han-Ram, but if you compare stat's then they would agree that M.Tejada deserves the #2 SS spot! :D

It may seem like I'm being argumentative but I'm not.

I never once went against your "2 major points." I actually agree with those. Yet, every time I say Tulo has no shot at the AS game, you counter with a comment or an opinion.

Whether you think he deserves it not, think he will make it or not, or hope he will make it or not - he isn't going to. It isn't a personal attack, sheesh. You act like I peed in your cheerios.
