Is the $250 needed now?

If not... just hold... but will it sell for more later? He doesnt have many cards.... so the odds are good that it will continue to sell well.

I find it more odd that every team in baseball isn't up for signing him. They pay players who are 38 and have half the potential what he rumored to command.

I bought 6, sold 2 to make my money back and have 4 left when he signs. Free money.

Isn't that a bit ignorant and premature? It isn't like he's a nobody in the baseball world.

Did you read the articles about him and his history?

There will *always* be someone to hype LOL.

Can anyone seriously remember a period of time when nobody was being heavily hyped over, say, during the last ten years???

He just turned 26 last month, (if that's true yet to be seen), yet you act like he's 35 or something. I'm not buying into the hype thou. I may draft him in my prospect draft if I can thou.

Sell!

Sell all cards of everybody right now.

What can you possibly expect this guy to do? There is no way, no way he is going to put career numbers of any substance, and almost no chance that he will put up single season stats that would drive his value up. Sell all cards at once.

I had a gold refractor on the bid board a few months ago with no bids...so glad I took it down!

I didi the same thing you did, i found 2 base chromes and 1 xfractor of him, and i listed them. Yes, a contract with a popular club, or a sensational career start do raise the stakes even higher, but I prefer to enjoy the hype now.
I remember i tried to sell the xfractor when i pulled it long ago and now i will probably get $50-60. It was enough to make a decision.

I picked up 4 off Sportslots for $4.97 including shipping from 2 different sellers. Tried to buy 6 but the other seller refunded my money.

I would sell now or hold only until he signs. I just don't buy into foreign guys coming over and being stars. There is a big difference between playing in the Cuban league and the show. If he does pan out it won't be for years, and at that time the hype is gone as well as all that money you left on the table by holding. Even the most hyped propects take a while to live up to that hype, and a good majority never do.
