2008 Upper Deck Documentary Game 17 Gold: Finishes off a truly boring set.

2007 Ultimate Collection Ultimate Team Materials Patch 5/25: Likewise, number 5.

2005 Upper Deck Emerald 24/25: I had never seen this card, and even thought that it was numbered out of 50 (as per Upper Deck's website). After posting my wantlist on The Bench, someone turned out to have it. Now down to only 11 cards, 10 of which I have never seen.

From 2004, and completely pounded. Ball marks, seam marks, broken handle etc. Been looking for one from 2003 or 2004 (when his uniform number was 60) for a long time, and struck gold!

Nice mailday, as usual :D

Thanks---it's actually fairly slow here, but a few nice pieces happened to pop up around the same time.

I did buy two Matt Diaz cards today, though, which will be nice to get. I'm only missing about 10 of his cards, so they're also really slow in appearing.

Get to a game and get that signed By him. No doubt he would sign them

I'm actually not sure if I want him to do that or not. It's just such a nice bat with so much use that I'm half tempted to leave it in its original "just off the field" shape.

I did get the 2nd jersey in my signature signed in person at Durham, which was somewhat interesting. I held it up when he walked over to the field to stretch (about 20 feet away), and he gazed over for about four seconds without breaking his stride. When he was done stretching, he walked over and signed it (and three or four cards) without saying a word.
