Damn - Mine Belle is 2,464 long... he only has 2,725 cards though. I have a separate sheet which outlines the 1998 and 1999 Topps Tek cards ;)

My Spread sheet has 4021 cards on it, although I have 8 cards incoming that are not on my sheet, and the rest of the sheet is other items like cups, glasses, plates, magazines, balls, bats, jerseys, ect.

Mine is broken down by years :)

All of my cards are in year order, then in alphabetical order within year. After my cards I have a few different categories, 8x10s, magazines; balls, bats, caps, cleats, jerseys; boxes; cups, mugs, plates; plaques; statues

Sometimes I feel like I should collect something easier than Ripken...

In all seriousness, how do you collect Ripken? Like what is your focus or how do you do it?

I only ask because for me, it's easy - If I see a Belle I don't have, I chase it... not for redic $ or trade but for a reasonable price or trade, I pick it up. I even go after certain cards for multiple copies like his Sweet Spot Auto for example.

I'm just curious for a guy with like 100x the cards Belle does and I'm sure you see cards you don't have every minute, so do you focus on certain items or cards or years or what? Just curious, not giving you a hard time.

Basically I have a list of the top 100 Cal cards I want, and if I see any of those, I'll go after them fairly hard. I also mostly just focus on things from his playing years plus some of the new issues that really appeal to me. Oddball 80's issues usually appeal to me the most, but I've been trying to fill in some of my 90's needs more. A lot of times it just comes down to me searching "Ripken" on eBay and going through cards until I find ones that I want and my budget for week/month runs out :D I hardly have any game used cards as they don't appeal to me that much, and don't have many autograph cards as they can be expensive. Which is odd because I have started a collection for hockey player David Backes and it's mostly game used and autos.

I really need to update the checklist of what I have and start going year by year to try and complete it as much as I can. But yeah, it's sometimes hard to stay focused as he has so many cards and new ones keep getting issued every year!

Part of the reason I started collecting Brady ha.

Yeah I started collecting Andy Van Slyke off and on and also have a hockey collection of current and former Minnesota State University hockey players that I focus on when my budget is more limited

Only way to confirm it is if another Biggio collector has got it. Otherwise if we found one for sale youd be buying it right now :)
