I got the card pictured below in a lot of about 10 cards. Figured it wasn't real, but there were 3 cards in the lot that I needed so I figured why not?... low starting bid and all. I think I won the entire lot for about $6.50 shipped.
After it arrived, I contacted Gallery of Sports... they handle Donnie's auto's and appreciate information about possible forgeries. They said it was genuine and probably signed around '85-'86... either way it was an early signature. The guy who emailed me said he didn't know when or if Donnie had a signing of 343 '84 Topps RC's to commemorate his '84 Batting Title, but he was sure the auto was real.

If anyone has any info on the signing, please inform.

Nope. I'm a ghost... like Church (Hope you get that), but then again, he wasn't a "ghost" after all.

1984 topps nestle nolan ryan x 50. Picked up for $80, books $2000. Finding somewhat valuable ryan cards for 4% book is awesome.

Now that said 99.8% of the stuff I own has come from ebay.

Snagged this terribly ugly (but still cool) card listed only as a bat without mention of the numbering (/6) for a little under $10:

Grabbed this auto short printed to 4 but not numbered at a local card shop for $8. Neither me or the owner knew it was short printed, and I only bought it because I hadn't seen it before:

I picked this up due to a seller listing it wrong. I had only seen one other before on ebay and it went for $87. This one cost me 8 dlvd!
