I totally understand where you're coming from. Even though I wasn't even alive, I can't stand to hear Russ Hodges call in 1951.

I am not a Giants fan, but at least that call has staying power. 65 years later, we are still talking about it, for better or worse. I watched the 88 A's/Dodgers game live and remember Eckersley's quote after the game. "Stupid pitch." Yeah, I agree Eck.
The '51 call has to be a knife in the heart of Dodgers fans, even after so long. Maybe '88 is to make up for it?
