That is what I remember most from the late 80s cards. Some had gum smell some smelled like a high gloss machine.

Oh yeah, Sportsflics had the strongest smell of any cards back then.

I gotta pick up those Fleer tins someday. Never owned one but always remember seeing them in the LCS display case as kid and wanting them. Brilliant marketing. I straight coveted those tins
