Your Home Game Baseball Team: Is there a special section?? We have KING's COURT!!

Just went to a Mariners game tonight (#LIGHTNINGCANO) and sat in King's Court. This is a section dedicated to Felix Hernandez that's been going on few quite a few years now. Everyone who sits here gets a Yellow "King's Court" T-Shirt and a Yellow "K" card. It's a great time! The section gets Krazy! On every batter with two strikes, the section stands up and chants, "K! K! K! K!" Pretty fun times. I have been to a few Felix games before and saw it from across the stadium, but this is the first time I sat in it.

Do any you other stadiums have something like this?? I have heard of Wrigley Field Bleacher Bums, but I honestly am not very educated on other stadiums!!

Arlington has small sections for almost every player, but we copied the King's Court. When Darvish pitches we have a Kia K-Zone. I have never been in it, but I think it's almost identical to Seattles

I'm in the Tampa area, even if you took everyone in attendance for the game, it still wouldn't will one section at the Trop.....

This is a really popular feature that on Saturdays is adjacent to the Jr Jays Kids Zone, so it's a great spot to go when you bring your kids (I'll be there with my daughter and son Aug 30 to see the Yankees!). Even fans with a cheap seat in the 500 level can go down and watch from a pretty good vantage point. IMHO one of the best things they've added in recent years, but it's always crowded.

For anyone not familiar with it, it's the area out in centre field by the huge Budweiser sign.

Bleacher creatures at yankee stadium do a roll call of all the yankee players in the first inning. Its pretty cool section to watch a game.

I will admit, that's the first Blue Jays game I have gone to for a long time, and the fans were OUT!! I honestly felt the Blue Jays fans outnumbered the Mariners fans. Lawrie, Olerud, and Bautista jerseys everywhere!! I was impressed!! Besides the Bautista homerun, however, they didn't have much to cheer about once the game started...

That's cool!! For every player?? I would feel bad if a section was ever empty!!

Back in the day we had "Vaughn's Valley" which was essentially the left-field bleachers at Milwaukee County Stadium. But Milwaukee baseball is a little different.

The proof is in the parking lot before a game. We once brought a friend from Boston to a Friday night no-big-deal game who had never been to Milwaukee before. He got out of the car and said, "You guys do this every game?" referring to the 30,000 people tailgating in the parking lot. Not quite the same thing, but no one else in the bigs does it like that.

I have felt this way pretty much since the Griffey era, but especially in the last 10 years or so. When the team is winning, the fans flock. When they don't, it gets ICY.

I remember the good old Kingdome days when nobody came in general and 10K was a good night (but I guess we never were much of a winning team anyway).

Hey, nobody cared about the Sonics either….until they were gone…right?
